In 162 Grand Prix races, Senna achieved 40 victories, 80 podiums, and 65 pole positions. On 30 April 1994, Roland Ratzen lost his life at Imola, which affected Senna, who died in another accident the following day. An Austrian flag was found in his car to pay tribute to Roland, but he was unable to do so.
